Cactus & Ivy: Design their Valentine’s Day Line! (A Contest & Giveaway!)

300 Comments 29 December 2008

I’m sure by now if you are a frequent reader, you have figured out that not only do I love shopping, but I love beauty products. I can literally spend hours searching for the perfect item in Sephora, would own every MAC eyeshadow if only I could find a place to store them all, and wouldn’t deny being obsessed with finding the perfect mascara. Naturally, I found it unbelievably cool that one of my sorority sisters from college, now a very accomplished makeup artist, had actually designed and created her own line of makeup. How exciting! I mean, how many people can say they “designed” a line of beauty products?

Well, thanks to Lisa, the owner of Cactus & Ivy, now you have the same opportunity! She has graciously offered one lucky Chic Shopper Chick reader the chance to work with her to create and design the Valentine’s Day Line from Cactus & Ivy. Apart from bragging rights, you will also get the chance to take home some of your fab new products. But, before I get too ahead of myself, let’s talk a bit about Cactus & Ivy. Read on to discover more about these awesome products!

All products in the Cactus & Ivy line are natural, never tested on animals, and completely cruelty-free and vegan – meaning no animal by-products – not even beeswax or honey! This is so important to me as a consumer because 60% of what you apply to your skin is absorbed, and I like to take care of my body so that it gets me through the long haul! Not only that, but Cactus & Ivy products are formulated to improve the quality of your skin and to restore it’s natural balance by using essential oils that are high in vitamins and minerals.

The product selections are so plentiful that they are almost overwhelming – so I asked Lisa for some guidance. She shared that her favorite all-time product is the Peppermint Tree Foot Balm, and I personally think I would love the Soy Indulgence line.

So how about it? Are you ready to design the new Valentine’s Day Line for Cactus & Ivy? The winner will receive an 18 oz. body scrub, 8 oz. Bath Grains, and 2.5 oz of Body Balm of their new creation, and will work hand-in-hand with Lisa to make it perfect by choosing essential and carrier oils for the products. Then, the line that you designed will launch the week of January 19th on the Cactus & Ivy website as their new Valentine’s Day Line.

To enter, just follow the easy-peasy rules below:

  • Visit Cactus & Ivy and come back here and ell me if there was something you could change about the Cactus & Ivy website or blog, what would it be?
  • Earn extra credit! You may do these for extra entries.
    • Blog about this giveaway and link back here and to Cactus & Ivy. Tell me about it in a separate comment.
    • Follow me on Twitter and follow Lisa from Cactus & Ivy on Twitter. Tell me about it in a separate comment.
    • Subscribe to the Cactus & Ivy Blog, then tell me about it in a separate comment.
    • Subscribe to my RSS feed via email or in a reader and tell me about it in a separate comment.
    • Stumble my main webpage (www.chicshopperchick.com) and leave me your Stumble Upon name in a separate comment.

That’s it! Good luck! Oh, and the official rules and legal jargon are below. (Please read it because it is a little different for this special opportunity!)

US entries only, winner will be chosen via random.org at the end of the contest. Winners are posted here, but please leave a valid email address or blog address if you’d like to be contacted should you win. Winner has 72 hours to claim their prize. This contest ends at 11:59 pm CST on January 6th, 2009. The winner will be required to sign a release form saying that the creation of the above products are property of Cactus & Ivy and the winner has no legal claims to their ownership or development.

Need listings of ingredients for those of us with allergies… and I agree that reviews would be beneficial.

  9. Lily Kwan says:

What I would change about Cactus & Ivy is that they should offer a toll-free phone number.

  10. Jamaise says:

I stumbled your main page – I’m coffecup

  11. Caryn B says:

I think the horse care products are a little strange mixed in with everything….: )

  12. Jamaise says:

I subbscribe to your feed :))

  13. Jamaise says:

I can’t really see anything that i would change. It is easy to use & looks clean and calm. That’s a hard question – nothing.

  14. Kristen Hendricks says:

If there is one thing I could change about the Cactus&Ivy website it would be I would include images of the products on the products page. This is a great giveaway and I really hope I win. Thanks.

  15. Donna K says:

    I subscribed to your feed.

  16. Donna K says:

I follow you and sent a request to follow Lisa on twitter.

  17. Michelle H. says:

I would say add more product choices. For example, I see one body wash and one face moisturizer (perhaps add one with anti-aging properties). Otherwise, I really like what the site has to offer and would love to try many of the products.

  18. Donna K says:

My only recommendation would be to add more color.

  19. Helen says:

I would include pictures of products on the products website. Also, the pictures are rather small on each product page, while it can be enlarged, it’s rather time consuming to click on each picture. A search engine on the website would be nice to find an exact product.

  20. Julianne B says:

I would add a “build a basket” and a free reminder service for hubbies or s wish list.

I know often when I buy those types of products, I end up making up a gift basket with them if I am giving it away to another. Gift baskets are the perfect presentation for this product and encourages people to buy more.

Not sure if she is in the position to take on that risk though during these tough economic times.

I would definitely add a “valentine’s” theme if that is her current proposed market.

    Wishing Lisa much success!!!

  21. Elizabeth Ray says:

It looks good to me. Until computers come with Smellovision (ha!) you have everything needed that’s possible!

  22. Pamela White says:

I would change the site by showing picturesof the individual products or examples of the products on the page shown after pressing the products page.

  23. lace says:

The site is very easy to use and looks wonderful. I love all the information available.

The only think I might change is having a scent list where it’s easy to find instead of only in a drop down menu on. I like a quick look at the scents available.

  24. Susanne Troop says:

I wouldn’t change a thing…very attractive and easy to navigate!

  25. Renee We says:

Cactus & Ivy: website needs more photographs.
I like the Soy Milk Lip Balm.

  26. Becky Grady says:

    I wouldn’t change a thing! I really liked the article “It’s a Conspiracy”.

  27. Liz says:

It looks pretty good to me, but pictures would be helpful, and add some pizazz!

  28. desiree kelley says:

    great website

  29. Vanessa says:

Beautiful website!! The only thing I might change is making the pictures larger. I realize that you can enlarge them but the products might be more eye catching if they were already larger.

  30. Daphne R says:

Post a ‘scent list’. Some folks (like me) are scent-shoppers. If I see ANYTHING citrus, I’m a sucker for it; even if I never thought I needed it!

  31. Kayce says:

I wouldn’t change this site. I looked at every heading, and it seemed very complete.

  32. Valerie C says:

Larger pictures of each product (I know you can click to enlarge but the pictures are so small that you kind of HAVE to, which is frustrating, especially if you have a slower connection). Also would suggest thumbnails on the product list page, just because it is nice to see what each item looks like in advance. I also second the shipping cost comment – I love it when companies post their shipping policies up front!

Beautiful stuff! I really like the banner on the home page.

  33. sarah lehan says:

I subscribed to yoour RSS feed on Google reader.

  34. Brittany says:

I think the thing I would change is on the products page. You should put up more pics of your products. Other than that it looks good :)

  35. Tracey P says:

I follow you on Twitter and sent a request to Lisa. @tlpounds

  36. Tracey P says:

    traceys[at]suddenlink[dot]net

  37. Tracey P says:

I didn’t notice that they had a shipping cost on there – just saw the timeframe. When I shop online I always like to know what the shipping cost is before I go through the hassle of shopping and putting it in the cart, etc. If I missed it then they might make it easier to find, if I didn’t miss it then they might consider adding it. Thanks!

    traceys[at]suddenlink[dot]net

  38. Susan Smith says:

I would suggest the pictures be bigger

  39. jjean says:

I like the site and the products have many virtues, which I would suggest touting more. There is the spot on the main page where you can learn more, but I think that a roting spotlight on the value of omega-3s or vitamin E with a link to the other great ingredients would call a lot of attention to the composition of the Cactus & Ivy products and showcase their quality. Thanks!

  40. Veronica Garrett says:

I would list the ingredients in the products.

  41. jayne says:

Enlarge the pictures just a little. Great site!!

  48. Andrea S says:

    I subscribed to their posts.

  49. Peggy Gorman says:

I love the colors and user friendly. The products look awesome . I am from the north so maybe add traditions of the southern woman

  50. Nanette Olson says:

I am a visual person, so I would like to see pictures of the products above the product names.

  51. Kristi H says:

I would add in the reviews of these awesome products, the website is AWESOME as is.

  52. Sandy Y says:

Looks great to me…maybe some customer testomonials?

  53. Amy W says:

When I click on products, it would be great if there was a photo of some type by each category name.

  60. ashley moorhouse says:

The site looks great, maybe some more colors and different fonts to go with the natural feel. And definately more pictures as mentioned before. Thanks!

  61. Wonderful giveaway! If I were to change something about their website, I might add thumbnails to this page: http://www.cactusandivy.com/Products.htm, just to make it a little more appealing. However, I really liked their clean, attractive design, and the fact that it wasn’t bloated and loaded fast. Great job, awesome products!

  62. subscribed to your RSS feed!

I’d make the background slightly darker. It’s a bit bright.

I’m subscribed to your RSS feed!

  68. Chrysa says:

IT looks great in general, but I would maybe put more/bigger photos.

  69. sarah lehan says:

The first thing I’d recommend to change would be to add image tags to all of the images on the site. I’m on dial-up and surf with images turned off to save band-width. I also have friends who are blind and use reading software which uses image tags in order to describe the site. Great prize. Thanks for the contest.

  73. JenniferR says:

I think I would add more pictures for each product, like for the different scents. For instance, the Butter Me Up Body Balm. When you click on it, it shows just one scent. It would be nice to see what they all look like.

  74. Susan W says:

I think that reviews by customers would be very helpful.
Thanks so much and the site looks great!
    suzystars9{at}gmail{dot}com

  75. Tara says:

I think more picture of the product on the homepage would be good. It seemed like a lot of the page was white and taken up by the welcome message. Also, have pictures of all the products. It’s frustrating to click on something to see more info and it says photo coming soon. Aside from that the site has a nice clean feel and good photos. I also like the colors.

  76. Marcy Strahan says:

I love the site but better product descriptions would be helpful.
    Such as the scents.
Also, ingreident list because some of us have allergies.

    thanks.

  77. Veronica L. says:

What a great website! The only thing that I could add to it would be more products pictures maybe. Thanks for a great giveaway :)

  78. Andria says:

Love the site. Very easy to use. Love that the home page has so much information. I think that on the products page pictures may be helpful with the product name. Other than that very easy to navigate.

  79. Kobi Hendrix says:

The only think I can think of is that you have to click on three different links to get to a product page from the home page.

  85. Laura G says:

I’d add more pictures and a little more detailed descriptions

  86. Tara says:

The only thing I would change would be the main products page…it’s a lot to read with no pictures. I would either group them together more so there aren’t so many options or add some sort of pictures! Thanks!

  87. Kathy Conley says:

    Add more photos of products!

  88. Jennifer M says:

The typeface they use for their text! It’s a bit businesslike, and doesn’t match the spirit of the website.

  89. Vanessa C. says:

I would put some more photos in – when you click on ‘products’ it just gives a listing. Photos may make it easier to choose where you want to go. Great giveaway!

  90. Every woman should pamper themselves with this giveaway.

  91. Heather says:

Some pictures above the product listings on the product page would make it look more appealing.

Thanks so much for this fabulous give~away! : )))

    leahita[at]gmail[dot]com

  103. Jean F says:

What is with the giant piece of parsley on the homepage? The name of the place is Cactus and Ivy, not Magnolia and Parsley! How about something to carry through with the cactus motif? Like, I dunno…some CACTUS! If I was going by the picture I’d expect parsley oil to be in everything. There is nothing wrong with cactus, they can be quite photogenic. Besides that, as everyone has mentioned the pictures are too tiny. Except, of course, for The Parsley That Ate Cleveland there at the top…

  104. kathemc says:

I would put images on the main products page, so that you don’t have to go to each individual item’s page to see what it looks like.

  105. Hesper F says:

Lisa’s products ROCK! The customer service at Cactus and Ivy is also fabulous. I asked a question about her soy indulgence line when it was brand new and she sent a gratis sample! I LOVE it!

Now down to business about Lisa’s Website…There is not a direct visable link to her blog. Also, If the blog were a part of her site, any visits would add to her SEO traffic thus boasting her numbers in the search engines.

I would try to separate the products into categories. Example facial care clumped together, body care in another section, etc. I would also add a picture above the products themselves. Most people are very visual and I think this would help. On another note I LOVE the colors and pictures on your site. Very soothing.

    Thanks so much!

I love the site but I agree in the product section there needs to be photos of their products and how about in the about us section a comment on how and where they get their products to make them. I am so happy they are going to not use any animal by products anymore. Excellent site and saved it to my favorites for future reference.

  148. laura says:

    I love this giveaway.
Changes to the website – the color of the middle box – maybe green instead of pink. also, maybe small pics or icons on the product listing main page.
    thanks!

my suggestion is to have a way to follow you via email subscription – I dont know how to do any of the other things but I would subsribe via email if it was an option!

  150. Christine says:

I think the site needs more pictures. The product pictures are too small and don’t really make me want to look further.

  151. Sarah Z says:

I think the website is very well put together. The only thing I didn’t like was that the pictures of the products need to be bigger and not brought up on a different page.

  152. Jason says:

I like the site, but I would try and make it load a little faster

  153. David Bertolo says:

I would change nothing your site is wonderful as is.

I like the site for the most part, but a few suggestions:
    use larger print
    have LARGE photos of products
    an established place for feedback
more color to accent new/slow-moving products

  158. Shaymaa says:

Great site. I can’t see much that needs to be changed, maybe just customer feedback.

I love the Cactus & Ivy Website! My first impression was a very peaceful calming feeling, which is what I think Lisa was going for. The products are clearly meticulously made with the finest natural ingredients, and that message comes across clearly. Okay, now you asked if we had any suggestions, so here are mine. You having a wonderful working website. The products are listed in categories, the descriptions are completed, now you need to take what you have and bring it to the next level, vamp it up, make it POP and WOW your customers. There a little too much laid back-ness about it. Now you have to bring it to life, that’s all! On the Product Page, make the text of each category larger and change the color to a bright bold Turquoise or Orange Color, make each category really POP out at you. Add nice size images above each category name. Once people click the category of the products they want to see, make those pages POP too. Make the text bigger, and the color of the text brighter. The pages need to come alive more. This is not a bad thing, but I get a sort of sterile clinical feel to the products and I don’t think that is necessarily your intention. If you want to attract people of all ages and also appeal to a young population, you may want to consider adding some “bling” to the website. It can be subtle bling, but perhaps some scrolling graphics, or some unique banners at the top of each page that are a bit more festive looking. Okay, now you know, I really do love your website. These are not criticisms, just some initial thoughts. I would have so much fun working with Lisa on some Valentines Day products, what a fun opportunity! Thank you for letting me share my thoughts today! I hope they help, or inspire something within Lisa and maybe be of some use! Happy New Year to everyone!

  166. Christie says:

I think I’d add thumbnail pics to the page with the product links.

  167. Colette S says:

I would put little photos beside the names so that customers can see what they are getting and maybe an area to do a review of products because for everyone the outcome is usually different.

  168. christopher h says:

id like to be able to review items, or read other peoples review of things before i buy them

  169. Molly says:

I think your website is great! I would maybe add more interactive elements to engage the the reader.

  170. Amy Taylor says:

    I subscribe!

  171. Amy Taylor says:

If I were to change something…on the homepage, I would take out some of the dead space on the sides of the page and make the font a little bigger. It’s a very well done site, though and looks like a great product!

  172. Christina says:

Visual examples of private labelling in the Service area might be good, since some people immediately respond to visuals more quickly – e.g. “Baby Molly’s Lily Soap” or whatever the example may be!

  173. LisaW says:

I also like the idea of adding customer reviews.Otherwise, very nice site!

  174. leah says:

Perhaps a testimonials page could be added so we can see what others though of the products.

  175. Erin says:

I’m following both on twitter ( erinlowmaster)

  176. Erin says:

I would love to read reviews on the products from those that purchase them. Everything else is great!

  177. juicebox mom says:

I’d like you to add some consumer reviews, but to be honest, you site is great.

  178. Lisa Fosses says:

    more product photos

  179. debbie says:

After clicking on “Products” I would have images to go with each word. Thanks!

  180. Dree says:

I’d add a shop now button.

  181. zoe lee says:

I am subscribed to your feed.

  182. zoe lee says:

    I subscribed to lisa’s blog..

  183. zoe lee says:

I follow you on twitter:)and i am now following lisa too..

  184. zoe lee says:

I love the colors of the sites, but for the menu, I would use little photographs or different colors for the titles..thanks for a fabu contest.

  185. Hey Erika!

WOW!! I am so stoked by the amount of feedback, which is so important to me. Good, bad or indifferent, feedback is always welcomed and greatly appreciated. You have all given me concrete points to consider and evaluate. I can already see that I need to move the link to my reviews page, judging by the amount of comments directed to customer reviews.

Thanks to you all for providing your thoughts and suggestions. I am looking forward to creating our Valentine’s Day line with one of you!

Good luck and Happy New Year!

    Lisa M. Rodgers
    Cactus & Ivy

  186. Beverley Justice says:

I hope they don’t change a thing. They have a very nice product line, well laid out site, and great information.

  187. Eloise C says:

I really wouldn’t change anything, the ste is fresh and I love the overall design, the pictures are also very nice. Thanks so much for such a wonderful giveaway!

    furygirl3132[at]comcast[dot]net

  188. Roxy says:

I would organize the product page by physical features and show pictures before having to click on the name.

  189. Monique Rizzo says:

I am looking forward to this blog!!

  190. lisa says:

I actually can’t think of anything to change. I thought is was lovely and efficient. It was easy to access the products and the ingredients as well as contact info.

  191. karissa says:

    subscribed to your RSS feed.

thanks so much! i would love to win. I love making bath goodies!

  192. karissa says:

    stumbled your main page!
    kagey10 again.

  193. karissa says:

subscribed to her blog and looking forward to it!

  194. Vickie says:

    Maybe more pics?

  195. karissa says:

follow you both on twitter! I am kagey10

  196. karissa says:

first thing I saw is that there is no products when you first get to the main page. that should not be the case. I know she is proud of her products and that should be the first thing people see!
kinda just seems like everything just needs moved up a notch or two. (pick up those britches and hike em up!)

  197. Denise says:

Nope, I wouldn’t change anything, but I’m not very creative.

  198. judy brittle says:

    I’m a subscriber.

  199. judy brittle says:

I would like a product page showing the product with picture and description
instead of having to click on each individual product.I just had to keep clicking back and forth. Other than that love it. Thank you!

  200. Barbara says:

I thought there were too many words and not enough pictures of the product. also the printing was too small. I would have a photo of the product as soon as you went to the site. products sounded great.

  201. kim b says:

Love the ease of navigation of the website. The only thing I would recommend is to have the products under categories.
    Thanx for the contest.

  202. Sally Britain says:

I am also a subscriber. Happy New Year!

  203. Sally Britain says:

These products are so inviting. I would love to try everything. My suggestions for the website are to add pictures to the first product menu page. Also larger photos of the products would be more eye catching on the product description pages. A drop down menu would be a help to access the other products instead of having to click back to the entire product page to see another item. Thanks for the great giveaway!

  204. bebemiqui says:

I’d love better descriptions on the scents!
    bebemiqui82(at)yahoo(dot)com

  205. Jessica says:

    I am a email subscriber

  206. Donna C. says:

I think the site is very well done. I was going to mention a section on gifts but I see that it’s been done. I was going to mention a section for little sets and I see that’s been done by the Sampler set. The products all sound great.

  207. Sarah says:

consumer reviews? if there are consumer reviews i definitely check them out before i buy something online!

  208. Amanda says:

Right on their product page there are no pictures for their products by the name….that would be helpful.

  209. Valerie says:

The text (services, products, about us, etc) is kinda light and can be hard to see. But it is not too bad.
Yeah, images on the Product page would be helpful
    Nice site

  210. Celeste says:

Maybe some graphics w/ the headers when you hit ‘products.’

  211. Angela J says:

It looks just fine to me.

  212. Sharon Harmon says:

The header graphics on each page of the web site are beautiful! But the bottom half does not match and it’s somewhat bland. Perhaps a floral green and white design could be made to match
the top header? Thank you for the contest!

  213. laurie says:

i dont see anything that needs to be changed, i like it just the way it is

  214. Christine says:

I really like how the site is laid out, by category and with nice descriptions and pictures of each product. I really couldn’t see anything I’d change. Thank you and Happy New Year!

  215. mindy says:

i really do not see anything to change thanks for the contest

  216. sito says:

    Stumbled, sito50

  217. sito says:

I follow you on Twitter and requested to follow Cactus & Ivy.

  218. sito says:

I subscribed to the Cactus & Ivy e-mail updates.

  219. sito says:

    I subscribe via e-mail.

  220. sito says:

I would add drop-down menus so I don’t have to go back to the products page. Photos with the products would also be nice.

  221. Sarah says:

Having the products be full-sized instead of having to click to enlarge would be nice if it didn’t slow everything down way too much.

  222. janeh says:

first off, it’s a very well-planned site, and easy to navigate…but, since I’m not familiar with the products, and don’t know what I’m looking for, the main Product page doesn’t appeal to me……perhaps pictures of the different items could be added, or maybe the products could be categorized……unless I knew exactly what I was looking for by product name, I might not be tempted to just SHOP.

  223. david basile says:

ok nice site but you could add a mens section

  224. Brandy says:

I wouldn’t change a thing. It is very well laid out, easy to navigate and easy to order from. Pages load quickly and aren’t cluttered. Information on pages is well written and easy to understand. Very nice.

  225. Karen Gonyea says:

Count me in – looks like a nice product.

  226. Deborah Wellenstein says:

Yes, I would like to see an ingredients list for the products. Thanks!

  227. Andreah says:

    Stumbled your main page!

  236. I already follow both of you on twitter

  237. I already subscribe to Lisa’s RSS

  238. Only thing I would change is Lisa’s blog platform, I always support moving to WordPress sooner then later so you’re not bogged down with all the tagging and updating down the road! Lisa is awesome!

  239. Kathy Scott says:

You are right about the pictures but I bet they are coming. Because I kept seeing photo coming soon.

  240. marybeth i says:

    I am an email subscriber

  241. marybeth i says:

love the site and the products. The only suggestion I have is more pictures (thumbnails where the product list is and pictures higher up on the front/landing page so you do not have to scroll down to see the product.

  242. susan varney says:

i like you the way you are keep up the good work

  249. Hey, what a great site~ stumbled upon it this am~ throught various networking~ Cool~! I love this place~
    sindy

  250. Joanne says:

I think the site is good as it is. I think for her blog she might want to put a bigger logo for her company so that people don’t miss that.

  251. jessica a says:

i really like both, thanks for the giveaway.
    imjessica(at)mail(dot)com

  252. Sylvia Belle says:

    Good site.

  253. I think the website already looks amazing, right away with the “leaping bunny”, I know that the owner has gone above and beyond to ensure that the purchased ingredients are not tested on animals. That is as important to me as the product ingredients.

I think the site is awesome, but maybe consider pointing out “key” ingredients for each product and a “short” description of their benefits. I like how the descriptions are already short, yet concise and that all ingredients are listed. Overall, I think it is a very wonderful site :)

  254. Lou says:

Beauty products are “the best” just need of little bit more advertising.

  255. Marie says:

Great site, great produtcs. Need products reviews.

  256. Cecilia says:

More products pictures. The public need to see and get more info.

  257. MU says:

    I’m a subscriber.

  258. MU says:

The consumer reviews are important to any website.

  259. Jessica says:

    I also subscribe to you

  260. Jessica says:

I subscribed to the Cactus & Ivy blog

  261. Jessica says:

I would place slightly bigger pictures next to the product descriptions, and on the product listing page, I would include pictures. Other than that, I think everything looks great. I love that their products are vegan, handmade, and very reasonably priced.

  262. Sonya Allstun says:

consumer reviews but other then that its a great site

  263. Marilyn Wons says:

I like how the site is formatted. The product listing is easy to follow, and the write-up on the individual products are very informative. It is very user friendly. The color of the site is nice on the eye. I can think of nothing to change. thank you

  264. Karen says:

I’m a subscriber to your RSS feed via email

  265. Karen says:

subscribe to her via email on khosanna account

  266. Karen says:

Followed you on twitter and already send her a request to follow her on twitter.

  267. Karen says:

I love beauty products. But I also want to know what each product contains because ALL 3 kids of mine has different allergies. I have to get different lotion for each kids since they all cannot tolerate something. If on the page of each items there’s a link or a pdf file ppl can download to see what exact ingredients are in it, that way ppl with sensitive skin feel confident to buy products. Also label it with common ingredients like: Contains Soy, Tree nuts or peanut oil…This is just an example.

    Under Products section, needs pictures

Need SITEMAP at the bottom. Sometimes if u cannot find what ur looking for, I click on sitemap.

Overall is a clean website, which is great.

  268. valerie m says:

subscribed to cactus & ivy blog

  269. valerie m says:

    following you on twitter
    sent lisa a request

  270. valerie m says:

I liked it – easy to navigate

  271. SANDY says:

I like it but it needs detail of scents a bit more and the extra pictures would get a faster sale

  272. I follow on twitter (@MomMostTraveled)

  273. Thumb nails on the master list would be a good addition.
Also, what if there was something on each summary that said, “If you like () you will love this!”
To let people know that this is good for someone who likes flower scents, or musky scents, or…mentholated foot rubs? I don’t know.

  274. Kendra says:

nice site …yes i might also agree with consumer reviews that are helpful !
thnx for the opp here, Happy new year

  275. Louise says:

    Very navigable site.

  276. Lisa C says:

    Im a subscriber.

  277. Lisa C says:

The only thing I might add to the website is consumer reviews. Kinda like how Amazon or drugstore.com lets you review individual products that you have tried.

  278. Shelley K. says:

    I stumbled (vegasweep)

  279. Shelley K. says:

    I am a subscriber :)

  280. Shelley K. says:

I follow you on Twitter (vegasweep)

  281. Shelley K. says:

I can’t see where there can be any improvements. Site is very easy to navigate. Pics are good size (and can be enlarged) Products have very good descriptions. The only thing that could improve it would be if we could actually SMELL the products…LOL!!

  282. Sue says:

If I could change anything: I would put pictures above my products name. I myself like to see what it looks like and I hate having to click and then off, for something that doesn’t even look good.
    Thanks
