Pretty Pretty Princess

16 Comments 06 June 2009

I was in Target yesterday and I wandered past this adorable princess bedding set in the kids section. Little AG has recently made the transition to a toddler bed, so it’s got me thinking about her next round of bedding. Though I swore I’d never make my little girl into a princess, I couldn’t resist this adorable set. My favorite was the tuffed pink quilt with strategically-placed rhinestones. I also love the pillow with the crown on it in rhinestones. I can’t help it, if I was a little girl, I’d covet this set for myself. Too bad I have to act like a grown up. *pout*

All of these pieces are actually reasonable priced, and some of them are actually on sale this weekend. Isn’t that chandelier nightlight adorable? Oh, and that bedskirt is tulle — how sweet is that? I’m so tempted to go back and buy the set for when Little AG finally transitions to a real big girl bed, but by then — who knows. She may be vocal enough to tell me just how much she doesn’t like it – and I’d be fine with that. But until she can say such things? I really like it.

I am currently doing my little girls rooma round this set. You can look at it’s “slow” transition into a princess room on my blog. It’s a lovely set. So purdy :o)

This is so adorable. My little girl is so into Minnie Mouse that I’m trying to get it for her bedding, but this would be darling. If you ever come across any Minnie Mouse bedding…please let me know or post it. I can only find it on Ebay so far, but none are styles I really like so far.

Oh. My. Word. This is the kind of stuff I dreamed about as a little girl – and now with 2 little girls of my own – they LOVE foofy-girly-pinky-chicy stuff, too! Sigh. One more reason to LOVE Target!

  6. Tammy says:

This is very girlish but not kiddish, understand what I mean. My daughter would have loved that when she was little. I think all little girls would love to have their room look like a Princess’ room.

This is just gorgeous. My little girl will be getting her toddler bed very soon and I will definitely consider this ensemble. Love it!

So cute!! This reminds me I need to start the transition of my son’s room from the more “baby” themed decorations to more big boy type decorations. My 2 year old daughter would love the princess nightlight – I have always wanted to get a little chandalier to put in her room, but my husband says there is really no easy way to hook it up because the only fixture on the ceiling is a ceiling fan. Oh well!

How cute!! My daughter would love all of this!!!

  11. Tara says:

Oh I love this!!! Perfect for my little girl..I am going to check this out!!

Too darn cute! Having just finished up with the Miss Nebraska Pageant, I’m still in Princess mode. I hope that someday Pea will want all of that gorgeous pink ultra girly and frilly stuff!

  13. Amanda H. says:

Wow! I love this set. My 2 year old is just about to transition to a big girl bed and you may have just saved me hours of shopping for the perfect set! I love it!

  14. Debbie says:

So today’s “mommy lesson” is that you never make promises, even to yourself, because things like this will happen. I say go for it until she tells you otherwise. Besides, she may be a girlie-girl and totally embrace her inner princess.
Very cute set…too bad my girls are technically adults now.
