TribeCon to rock Voodoo in Nola!

5 Comments 01 October 2009

Calling all of my Nolaites! If you live in or around the New Orleans area, I’ve got a huge treat for ya! As a part of this year’s Voodoo Experience, the tech/web/interactive/cool kids community here in the city has pulled together an awesome one-day conference called TribeCon.

This is going to be one knock-it-out-of-the park (City Park, to be exact) kind of experience. Plus, this year’s attendees will have the honor of saying “I attended the very first TribeCon” because you know something this awesome won’t just happen once.

So, if you are a social media lover, a brand enthusiast, a musician, tech geek, media maven, entrepreneur, marketer or just generally an all-around rockin’ person, TribeCon has something for you. I mean, heck, check out the awesome lineup of speakers if you don’t believe me!

So, here’s what I think. I think you should go. It’s gonna be awesome, and heck, I’ll be there, so you’ll at least have someone to hang out with, right? There’s no excuse. Hey, even better – I scored you a discount code. When you buy your ticket you can use the code: NOLABLOGGER. That little code right there will save you 25 bucks.

See? Now you can use your savings to go out for drinks or dinner with everyone afterwards! So go ahead, register for TribeCon!

(Don’t live in New Orleans? That’s ok, you can still come, we’d love to have you! We have quite the friendly city and we love meeting new people!)

Tiffany – I 100% agree. If you could go ahead and add that in, I think you might have a surge in attendance. Meh, maybe it’s just a lesson for the future? ;)

Chris – No problem, I’m really excited about it – I know anything that you and Tiffany create is absolutely solid and worthwhile. I’m excited to experience it!

Erika – thanks so much! It is gonna rock Voodoo. TribeCon is going to be a great conference exploring exactly what you do here… build strong community. Can’t wait to see you and your readers there.

I think the fact that you will be there is the number one selling point, really. In fact maybe TribeCon should add that to their marketing materials:)

I can’t wait to assemble all of the passionate mavens, geeks, brand enthusiasts and community advocates under the oaks. It is going to be a day to remember.
