Quick! Think of something healthy or good for you. Got it? Good. Now, think about something that is good for you generally tastes.
Do you have that thought in your head?
Good, now scratch it.
I recently had the opportunity to try Udi’s Gluten-Free Foods for the first time. Normally I would have shied away from anything that sounded even remotely good for me, but let’s face it, I’m pushing 30 and my body does not look the way that it used to – nor does it react to food in the same way. On top of that, both of our kids have had a few food issues, and we have considered going gluten-free here many times. Except I kept thinking that it would be too hard and worse – it would taste awful.
I’m here to tell you – Udi’s Gluten Free Foods do not taste awful. They don’t even taste like awful’s 4th cousin twice removed. Let’s just say that they sent us a little box of their chocolate chip cookies and I ate them. ALL. In like a few days.
Probably not the healthy thing I was going for, right?
Anyway, Udi’s Gluten Free Foods are now being sold in Walmart – you can snatch up the soft white bread, soft whole grain bread, plain bagels, chocolate chip cookies, and pizza crust – all in the bakery department.
Want to find a Walmart near you that carries the products? You can check out the store locator and find out.
So what do you think? Have you tried Udi’s? Do you already eat a gluten-free diet? Share your thoughts in the comments!
