Christmas Gift Guide 2008: Stocking Stuffers

13 Comments 13 November 2008

Welcome back to Day 3 of my Christmas Gift Guide! Be sure to check out Day 1 about Christmas Traditions, and Day 2 about Entertaining and Hostess Gifts. Today’s portion of the guide is about one of my favorite parts of gift giving — the Stocking Stuffers!

Don’t worry, I’ve got you covered this year with all sorts of great items for stocking stuffers, so hang on, because here were go!

Chic Buds — a great gift for all of the iPod/MP3 lovers in your life! Jazz up their listening expereince with these unique ear buds that will instantly turn any old iPod or iPhone into one fit for any fashionista! Don’t worry, they didn’t leave the guys out of the mix because they also make RockBuds with more “manly” looks (bust still very stylish, may I add!). Check out my post today on Chic Buds and enter to win your very own pair!

Anne Taintor — Makes great products with a mix of snarky tongue-in-cheek humor that you will love, coupled with vintage art. They have some awesome products that would make great stocking stuffers or even gifts for your friends. I especially love their purse sized emory boards, passport covers, and ID holders. I use my ID holder for my business cards, and the front of it says “Of COURSE it buys happiness!” I get comments on it all the time, I just love it! Check out my post on Anne Taintor today and enter to win a $50 gift card for some of their great products!

Nola Meadows Jewelry – What a nice surprise it would be to find one of the stunning accent pieces from Nola Meadows in the bottom of your stocking (hint, hint to all the men out there!). I have a matching necklace, bracelet, and earring set from there that I absolutely LOVE. I can dress it down to go to the grocery store but it also looks stunning all dressed up for a night out! Check out all of the great pieces at the Nola Meadows online boutique, and be sure to tell her I sent you!

Hannah Montana, Season 1 – The moment all tween girls have been waiting for! Get caught up on Hannah Montana and purchase the entire first season! It’s the perfect size to fit in a stocking, so I know Hannah Montana fans will swoon! This collectors edition set features 4 DVDs with 26 episodes and tons of extra, never-before-seen features. You can purchase Hannah Montana: The Complete First Season on sale right now on Amazon for 26.99. You can also head on over to my review of Hannah Montana today and enter for a chance to win the entire first season for the Hannah Montana lover in your life!

Jeep Knife Clip — is the perfect stocking stuffer for all of the men in your life! This rugged clip has a regular-sized watch face, a stainless steel pocket knife complete with scissors, a compass, an LED Microlight, luminated clock hands and markers, and is water resistant for up to 100 feet! Wow! It really is as awesome as it sounds, and it comes in a fantastic hard case, perfect for dropping down in his stocking! He will really be surprised and excited to see this come Christmas morning! You can buy it at All Things Jeep for $69.99 in either black or silver.

Ferrero Rocher — Of course, a stocking wouldn’t be complete without a treat, and Ferrero Rocher makes my ULTIMATE favorites. Matter of fact, last week I bought a package of them because they were on sale, and well, lets just say they are already gone. I’m ashamed to admit it, but it’s the truth. I love what Ferrero does around the Holidays with their collector editions, and I would be thrilled to find this adorable tree filled with an assortment of my favorite Ferrero Rocher chocolates in my stocking! You can find these delicious chocolates in almost any neighborhood store!

Flip and Tumble Re-Useable Bags – These are by FAR my favorite re-usable bags EVA! They come in a whole ton of varying colors, they have TONS of room in them, they are sturdy, and I swear they are just as fashionable as they are practical. Plus, had I mentioned that whole “saving the earth” thing? Yeah, it’s a big plus. But, here is the best part (did you think it could get better?) about these bags — they roll up into a nice little package small enough to just LEAVE in your purse. No more forgetting your bags at home, in the car, etc. Check out my post on Flip and Tumble and you can win one of their awesome reusable bags for yourself.

Great suggestions! I really love the reusable bags since they encourage being a little more kind to the environment.

We usually opt for some small knick-knacks and some sweets, but I’m definitely going to keep your suggestions in mind from now on.

  2. Kaitlin says:

The reusable bags look awesome. Almost like little yoga mats, when they’re all wrapped up.

I am a “stocking stuffer” from way back. The reusable bags would be good for my daughter, daughter-in-law and ex daughter-in law. The knife with watch face would be fantastic for my son.
