Playskool’s Cherry Blossom Market – A Giveaway!
Ok, I’ve already ranted and raved over my extreme love for it in my Christmas Gift Guide for kids, but it’s worth another mention here: one of my favorite picks for Christmas this year is, beyond a doubt, the Cherry Blossom Market. We have one of these at my house (I just couldn’t wait until Christmas to give it to Little AG – it looked like so much fun!) and it has been a fun activity for us daily since we broke open the box. Speaking of opening the box, it was very easy to put together, though I did take the time to read the instructions for once (rather out of character for me!) but it was in one piece in a flash (when I saw the small box I was slightly worried). The fabric that it is made out of seems easy enough to wipe clean, and at the most, needs a sponge with some warm, soapy water on it.
And really, what little girl doesn’t dream of owning her own little store! Now they can with the Cherry Blossom Market from Playskool — perfect for those of us who want to give our little ones a playhouse of their own, but with limited space. A smaller addition to the Dream Town collection (we also love the Rose Petal Cottage, but it’s twice the size, therefore it would take up twice the amount of room in my house!) this sweet and playful market will not disappoint! I love the beautiful fabric walls of the Playskool Cherry Blossom Market

I would very much like to win because it would make my granddaughter blissfully happy to get this on Christmas morning. Christmas is a little leaner this year for everyone, it would be a JOY to win this.
My daughter is just starting creative play and would love this, she plays house under the slides at the park in the little areas they have their so this would be perfect for home.
As much as I’d love to win this for my kids I’d really love to give it to my little neighbor who I babysit from time to time. She’s such a cute little girl and she LOVES to role play. Okay, so here’s the deal. Last year I got an incredible deal on a Children’s Place leapord Print backpack that I gave to my little cousin (then 2, now 3) for Christmas. It was her FAVORITE gift! She had that thing on her back the moment she got the paper off of it and wore it all day! I even had reports from Mom telling me how much she loved it! That being the case, I’m feeling a little pressure this year! LOL! I want to give her a gift that will get her that excited again, but, again, I can’t spend a fortune on it. My 3 year old granddaughter is lucky enough to have room for this really great playset. I too looked at the Rose Petal Cottage but this seems even nicer and I would love her to have it.
I used to “play shop” all the time growing up. Even though I’m not a little kid anymore doesn’t mean I don’t enjoy playing pretend with my kids. This shop looks a lot more fun than the one my sister and I used to put together. Thanks for the entry my daughter would love this for Christmas.

Stopping by from dates to diapers. Love this store playhouse. My girls are 10 and 12 and would have loved it. My son is 5 and would say…yuck it’s girly. I would donate it to a mom and baby shelter in Frederick, MD…Heartly House? My daughter’s Girl Scout troop did care packages for the children each year…the mom’s were fleeing abusive husbands. I would imagine the house has a play area or common room. Those kids need something to take their minds off their shattered home lives.

This is SO cute! We went a little nuts last year and bought the girls all of the Rose Petal Cottage stuff. Not sure we have room for this, but I’ll make room if I win because I know they would LOVE it.
I have 5 grand children – 4 boys and my first grand daughter. We have blue, brown, and green. we have trucks, planes and cars. We have dinosaurs, bugs and power rangers. I would love this for my daughter, who is 16 months old and already engaging in imaginary play — especially the things she sees me do. As soon as she could walk, she was slipping things that looked like purses on her arm … gift bags, grocery bags, her blocks that come in a little plastic bag … you get the drill. This is something she could do with her older sister who is 10 — and I think they’d both enjoy it.

How cute is this?! I remember when I was growing up how often I played house and grocery shopping and all that girl stuff. the earliest I can remember is years old.

Liz loves imagination play. She keeps up a constant chatter as she plays. She even does accents. Sometimes I wonder if she has mutiple personalities. She would love to have this great toy to act out her stories with her imaginary friends.

I keep telling myself that at two my little one isn’t going to miss Christmas (like everywhere, things are tight – we help out other family and have bills like most people) so its not as much that as the fact that I loved playing pretend when I was little, I want to nurture imagination in him. I’d like this playhouse not for my own child, but for my sister’s kids. She’s having a small Christmas this year ’cause her husband’s been having trouble finding a job since they moved in May and I want to help out. She has a little girl and a little boy, but I think they’ll both like this a lot.

My dd 3yo would love this. Her big sisters have American Girl dolls with many things to go with them (via granny). Our 7yo just got a soda shop set for her birthday. It’s cute, and she is pretty good about the 3yo using it, but the 3yo likes to chew on the straws and actually use the forks. She is the youngest of 5 and would like an activity for her, not one to share.

I’d like to win this for my husband’s granddaughter. Her mother hasn’t been around since she was 6 months old and so she really hasn’t had much of the girly type stuff with her father. So, she’s always wanting to pretend play when she’s around me. Since my boys are teenagers and I never had a little girl of my own I’m loving this time with her and learning about all the new toys that are out now.

My Christmas adopted family has 4 little girls who would just go nuts over this!! I can just picture them playing with it now and more important I can picture the smile on their mom’s face instead of tears because her girls will have a good Christmas with this . i am trying to do all i can for this family but being disabled myself with little income I can only do so much. This would really make those little girls Christmas.
My 4-year old granddaughter would love this. My daughter — her (step)mother is part owner of a store and the little one just loves to pretend shop or pretend sell. She plays store at home with items from the pantry. She would be delighted with her own little store.

I wish they would make toys like this more gender-neutral — little boys like to play store and market just as much as little girls! He won’t mind the pink, but I’m tired of having most of the imaginative role-play toys be pink.
