Make a Statement!

french jewelryThe best way to update your wardrobe each season (besides a wallet-busting shopping spree?) is to invest in what I’d like to call a “statement piece”. A bold new coat, a great new pair of shoes, or a new piece of jewelry can do the trick! Of those, I think one of the easiest is choosing a new piece of jewelry. Find something unique, perhaps a bit bigger than you would normally wear, but something that still reflects your personality.

My statement piece this winter was this gorgeous necklace that I found on Etsy – an antique-style “Love Meter” that really spins. Remember being a little girl and picking flower petals off a daisy while saying “He loves me, he loves me not, he loves me…” until you had gotten down to the last petal?     I’ve just discovered “Silpada” Sterling Silver Jewelry…and I’m TOTALLY IN LOVE! I think that I’ll be purchasing some nice “every day” earrings. For the Winter, my statement piece was a large Fleur-de-lis pendant off of a chunky necklace….made me feel a little closer to home!
    I’m thinking you need BOTH pair of heels! Once I get rid of the pregnancy weight and am not toting around a carseat, I’m off to find a nice pair of heels to dress up or down!

    Last year I bought my first red purse a Jimmy Choo. I recieved tons of compliments.

    Haven’t decided what I’ll do this year.

    love the necklace and I say buy both too hard to choose between pink and red heels….my statement piece is a great new purse I am addicted to them and have way to many but a girl has to do what a girls got to do….
