A couple of weeks ago I received a last minute invitation to make a day trip out to a Walmart store about an hour and a half from my home where Jeannie Mai, fashion expert and TV personality, was giving one lucky winner a chance to “Style Her Smile” with a style makeover thanks to Colgate Optic White.  Being a huge fan of Jeannie Mai myself, and a recent convert to Colgate Optic White I decided it was well worth the trip.

When I arrived Jeannie Mai was already well into her makeover of contest winner Jeannie (yes, their names were the same!) and everyone was laughing and having a great time.  It was so much fun to watch Jeannie give the winner style tips that she could use everyday and to see how hands-on she was with the styling (because honestly when I hear that someone gets to be “made over” by a celebrity I assume someone else is pulling the clothing and the celebrity is just stepping in for photos).  It was so exciting to see that Jeannie was determined to make the winner feel her very best!

Jeannie styled the winner in almost 15 different outfits to help her look and feel her best after she confessed to not going very many places because she felt like she didn’t have anything to wear. And even though she felt best in capris and cute tops, she even agreed to go outside of her comfort zone, donning a few gorgeous dresses with some really fabulous necklaces.

As someone who loves a good makeover it was so much fun to be able to watch this take place in person.  It’s amazing how some new clothes helped Jeannie to stand up a little straighter, walk a little taller, and smile a little brighter–all courtesy of Colgate Optic White.
