I absolutely love to be organized. To know what goes where, who needs to be where/when — it makes me happy. Very happy. If you know me well enough, you are probably laughing at the above statement, even though it’s true. See, the issue is that while I might like the organization and the structure, the truth is…I suck at it. Truly. I’m perpetually late, and time has become this “fluid” thing for me that exists to merely move alongside of my day, but not to guide it. It seems it’s a family trait, as I never remember my mother ever really being on time for much, either. Granted, I’m MUCH worse, but the fact remains that it is likely a learned behavior.
Poor Little AG. She’s doomed.
It’s the pull of organization combined with the desire to raise a child that has a better grasp of time than I do that made me fall in love with these “My Week” Magnetic Wipeable Calendar for Kids. It will teach your child about the different days of the week, seasons, weather and more. I love to show Little AG her week in advance, and she loves to help me put the magnets on the right days of the week, and pick out the correct activities. The My Week Calendar comes with 58 Activity, Season and Weather magnets, a magnetic dry erase marker (yay! harder to lose!), and a reusable storage bag. We love charting playdates, visits to grandparents houses, and other things!

I would love this organizer for my autistic daughter. The pictures
are perfect to prompt er to what she is to do when.
The MyWeek Wipeable Calendar for kids would make a helpful tool for my son to learn about the days of the weeks, seasons, and holidays. It also would teach him organizational skills which I think is a skill that will help in every aspect of life. And it would help put a stop to the question what day is this and when is ball practice. Thanks for the giveaway. Love the blog. Kim

I love that the magnets include words and pictures for all ages.
This calendar will be perfect for my 4 year old son. We are always going through our day and he wants lots of reminders about what is in store for him. I especially love how versatile it is and that we can place it in a centralized location (the refrigerator in our kitchen) so that my son can get the constant reminders he craves about his day. The dry erase marker is a nice feature so that we can write in a phrase or picture to illustrate something that may not be included with the set. I also think that this calendar will get lots of use since it is interactive. I can see my son getting jazzed that he can put the weather forecast up on each day (I think I will suggest that he look outside each morning and use those cues to be the “weatherman” in our house!) This is a great idea that has been executed to perfection! Thank you!
I love that the kid can help plan out their week. My daughter loves to know whats going on day to day and in preschool they are learing about the days of the week. This would be great on all levels

Okay, I LOVE this calendar! First of all, I love the concept, and the fact that it’s magnetic AND wipe-off makes it very practical. The little drawings on the magnets are so cute too!
I have to tell you that I thought I was reading a post I had written when I read yours! I think we MAY have been separated at birth because I have the same love affair with organization, yet I am THE most DISORGANIZED person! I get a temporary high when I buy a new planner or storage container, but then it seems I can’t ever figure out how to really make it WORK for me or our family once I bring it home! And the late thing? Yeah. I’m embarrassed to tell you how many tardies my boys have had this year (so far!), and all because I cannot seem to get us organized and out the door in time! I’ve even gotten a couple form letters from the district telling me “how important it is to get your child to school on time.” The bad thing is, my husband’s a teacher. He just shakes his head. ;)
