Hi everyone. So sorry that I haven’t posted much this week, but we are busy making preparations for the potential landfall of then Hurricane Gustav here where we live. We are waiting on word about evacuations and whether or not “contraflow” (when both lanes of the interstate open in one direction only — AWAY from the storm’s predicted path) will be put into effect.

With that, we are cleaning up around our house, cutting our lawn, and getting supplies. I’ll try my best to keep you updated, but should Gustav continue on this path, it may be a bit before I’m back here posting.
