Oh la la — check out these adorable backpacks for back to school with Oompa Toys. They are made by the the Paris company “Pooki and Co” but are loved the world over. Little AG has the Lola Garden Backpack with Green accents, and I love how it shimmers and shines. She is only 18 months old, but this backpack fits her — it’s a good size for her, and she loves walking around with it on her back like a big girl! I’ve taken to packing a few diapers, wipes, and toys in it and letting her use it as a diaper bag — one less thing I have to carry!

The Lola Garden Backpack is very well made — it has two padded shoulder straps (with a little bling-blingity shine thrown in) and a reinforced hanging strap. The outside and inside are both easy to clean with a damp cloth, and it seems very resilient (read: when Little AG throws it across the room or scrapes it along the cement, it still looks good.) The inside is roomy, with one interior pocket. It fits a coloring book and bag of markers, 3 diapers, a package of wipes, and a few small toys quite nicely.

These bags would be perfect for a new pre-schooler – it’s functional and fashionable (if the 6 and under set can be considered fashionable). It’s lightweight and comfy — Little AG wants to wear it every time we leave the house now. It’s really quite adorable.
